Introducing Studio Laloc by Lauren L Caron
I’m thrilled to share that today I am launching a new brand.
The concept of Union Adorn was born out of a dream to create a design collective that utilized the skills and creative abilities of talented people to form a union from many facets of the industry and create beautiful, compelling experiences for retailers, brands and individuals. In many ways that concept is still woven into the fabric of our brand. However, after almost five years and a cross-country move, myself and this brand have evolved.
I still work daily with talented artisans and craftsmen to create beautiful and compelling experiences. But as the business has grown, my personal focus that was once split evenly between visual merchandising and interior design, has shifted heavily toward interiors. As an interior designer, my work is deeply personal. The singular connecting thread to the interiors that we create, is me. The work that we create is the expression of my favorite ideas, deepest dreams, and the anatomy of my style. Thus, the Union Adorn brand no longer makes sense as the home for my interior design services. With a singular focus, this new brand reflects my inner framework, the architecture of my aesthetic, taste and point of view. The new name, is a compilation of letters pulled from my given and chosen names. Studio Laloc is the interior design firm founded by Lauren Lothrop Caron.
At Studio Laloc, our design philosophy is based on the belief that homes should be both livable and compelling. Our work has an air of nostalgia but isn’t bound to a specific time or place. Our style melds together a series of contrasts that create uniquely, timeless homes. We design spaces that are functional and comfortable with a bit of modern formality layered in color, pattern and texture. We mix antiques with modern heirlooms. And most importantly, we focus on conveying details that reflect the personal sensibilities of our clients.
I could not be more excited for this necessary step in continuing our mission to create beautifully inspired interiors that depict the story of a life well lived.
