This is the final date to link up for the One Room Challenge! So i't’s time to pre-reveal the room with plans to share the final reveal when the chairs and window treatment hardware arrive. Details about how this space of many layers seems to somehow work, based on the principles of design.
For week three of the ORC I started wallpapering and thinking about artwork. I also finished painting the ceiling.
It’s here, the REVEAL! This tiny but mighty little jewel box can finally sparkle. I am so happy I decided to participate this year! It’s just the motivation we needed to complete this space.

A tiny guest bedroom gets a makeover as a fully functioning design office
A touch of modern, leaning towards traditional with a lot of French influence. I wanted our dining room to be the eclectic and slightly strange mix some of my favorite eras in design, while still incorporating some of my existing collection of antiques and vintage artwork.
After a little over a year, (in fact we just resigned our lease) I am revealing the almost finished living room! Along with before and after photos of the space to see what we started with.
As with all design, we want to create spaces that are interesting with a sense of depth to them. White and cream rooms can be very flat, however if focus is set on the subtle details, you can create a space that is both soothing and serene.
